:SPECIAL NOTE:

As you all are well aware that a strike notice has been served by this union to Hon’ble Secretary- Department of Post on 23-4-2018.

In continuation of said strike notice, today (11-5-2018)  a meeting was called for by Shri Alok Kumar Bharti  Assistant Labour Commissioner New Delhi. Shri R.S. Mawar, ADG (SR) and Shri Pawan Kumar Bhatla- Asstt. Director – Department of Post was present from Administration side and from union side  Shri Santosh Kumar Singh Secretary General BPEF & myself Sugandhi Kr. Mishra –General Secretary –BEDEU were present in meeting. Hon’ble Assistant Labour Commissioner directed to Department for early implementation of GDS Committee Report with suitable reply to union before 18-5-2018. The next meeting with Labour Commissioner & officers of Department of Post will be held on 18-5-2018.  

            Officers of Department of Post & Labour Commissioner also appealed to union to postpone the strike and  wait upto 18-5-2018 , but I have clearly refused and told them that strike will  continue till  implementation of GDS Committee Report.
