 A very dynamic & honest leader of trade union movement, Shri M. Krishnan ji Ex Secretary General NFPE, passed away due to Covid today ie 1st March 2021.

He lead Postal Unions and Central Government Employees Confedration for decades. 

He was very knowledgeable, militant, Dedicated and committed leader of Postal Department. 

No words to express sorrow. 

We,on behalf of BPEF, Convey our heartfelt condolences to bereaved family and leaders of Kerala and Whole country.

POSTAL DEPARTMENT ISSUES NOTICE ON UPDATING CUSTOMS DATA OF ARTICLES CONTAINING GOODS

Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, has issued a Public Notice on Updating Customs data of Articles containing goods.

 

The notice states , “ As per rule 47 of Post Office Guide Part 2 and other relevant rules, it is mandatory that all postal articles including ordinary articles containing goods meant for delivery to foreign destinations are affixed with correct and complete relevant custom declaration forms. These forms include details of sender and recipient along with descriptions of the contents of the article.”

Department of Posts reiterated for information of customer/ public that in the absence of correct and complete Custom Declaration forms (CN22/ CN23), such articles will not be processed and will be returned to the sender as per departmental rules.

 Digital Life Certificate is a biometric enabled digital service for pensioners. Pensioners of Central Government, State Government, EPFO or any other Govt. organizations can take benefit of this facility at doorstep or at any post offices.

The pensioners need not visit office of Pension department or pension disbursing agency for submission of Life Certificate

·         Completely paperless issuance of Digital Life Certificate with Aadhaar authentication.

·         Instant issuance of certificate.

·         Service available at nominal fee of Rs. 70 (inclusive of taxes)

Pensioner needs to carry the following information for the generation of the DLC:

1. Pension ID
2. Pension Payment order
3. Pension Disbursing department
4. Bank account details
5. Mobile Number and Email ID
6. Aadhaar Number

Digital Life certificate will be instantly generated with Pramaan ID sent to you on your mobile.

Your certificate details will be automatically updated with the pension department.

Pensioner can book doorstep request on post info mobile app or http://ccc.cept.gov.in/covid/request.aspx
