Sub: Diversion of vacant post in SA Cadre
into DR quota of JA
Madam/Sir
I am
directed to refer on the above cited subject and to state that as per existing
provisions the vacancies in the cadre of Senior Accountant are operated in Junior
Accountant cadre against the DE/SCF quota only. However , number of proposals
for allowing the diversion of vacant post in SA cadre into DR quota of JA cadre
has been received through PAO and Staff Associations on account of non filling
of retirement vacancies in SA cadre.
The matter has been examined and it has
been decided by the competent authority for diversion of vacancies in SA cadre to
DR quota of JA cadre as one time measure only for smooth functioning of PAO upto
level of 60% vacancies of Senior accountant minus the total number of eligible
candidates available in JA cadre who has completed more than 2 years and 3 year
of vacancies as on 1-1-2012.
